The Work
In this excerpt from Aelfric’s Colloquy, a plowman describes the many hardships of his life. The Latin text is arranged as though it were a field being plowed and ends in an image of the plowman at work with his ox, plow, and plowboy.

Afterword and translation by Andrew Miller-Brown. Accordion fold bound into a pastepaper cover, slipcased. Printed on Barcham Green Sandwich. The edition is 12 pages, 3.5in by 5.25in, limited to 100 initialed copies. 2005
